What does a Childminder do?

Childminders provides care for children in their own home, offering a range of care and play activities.

Childminders (other than relatives) who look after children for a total of more than 2 hours per day and for any form of reward (in money or in kind) must BY LAW be registered by OFSTED.

OFSTED keep a register of all childminders in the area and arrange annual inspections. Each childminders home is visited to make sure it is a safe and suitable place for young children.  Checks are made on the health and experience of the childminder together with Police checks.

My Philosophy

My aim is to provide a warm, happy atmosphere, leading to a positive learning environment where all children can acheive their full potential. My priority is to keep children safe and happy but above all, to have FUN!
